Two persons died yesterday afternoon after a speeding driver lost control of his vehicle and veered off the Lagos-Ibadan highway.
The fatal crash occurred immediately after the Iperu-Ogere bridge, en route Sagamu-Interchange, Ogun State, at about 02:38 pm.

Two male adults and one female adult were involved in the crash, which left the female with injuries. She was taken to Victory Hospital, Ogere for medical attention while the corpses were deposited at the FOS morgue, Ipara.
The Sector Commander of the FRSC in Ogun, Anthony Uga, has advised motorists to drive responsibly and shun excessive speed.
