The British High Commission in Nigeria, in partnership with Manufacturing Africa, has hosted an Investor Night showcasing six startups from the UK-funded Green Business Building Accelerator. After 16 weeks of training, the founders pitched their climate-friendly manufacturing solutions to venture capitalists and impact investors in Lagos.
The selected companies — GreenSpace Recycling, Sirius-X Energy, Auxano Solar, Taeillo, ZOOMe and Veggie Victory — presented models spanning renewable energy, electric mobility, recycling and organic agriculture. Funders offered real-time feedback, with several expressing interest in backing the ventures.
