The United Nations has condemned an Israeli air raid on a UN school being used as a shelter in central Gaza.
In a briefing with reporters, UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric, said it was the fifth bombing of the same school in the Nuseirat refugee camp since Israel’s attacks on Gaza began.Â
Expressing his displeasure with the attack, he also said as a policy, UN premises should never be targeted, nor should UN premises be used by any groups or any force from which to launch military activities.
He added that UN premises need to be protected and respected by all parties to any conflict.

The Government’s Media Office reports that at least 18 people, including women and children, were killed in the air attack which is situated in the central Gaza Strip.
