The United Nations says Israeli authorities have blocked 107 requests for the delivery of vital humanitarian supplies into the Gaza Strip since October 10. UN spokesperson Farhan Haq told reporters that the rejected items included blankets, winter clothing, and materials needed to maintain water and sanitation systems.
Nearly 90 percent of the denials came from over 330 local and international NGOs, with more than half turned down because they were deemed “unauthorized” to deliver aid. The UN warned that the restrictions were worsening already dire conditions for civilians.

Haq also voiced concern over continuing Israeli military operations, saying daily detonations of residential buildings were being reported in eastern Khan Younis, eastern Gaza City, and Rafah, further threatening civilian safety and aid distribution efforts.
