The United Nations’ World Food Programme, WFP, has warned that its food supplies in Gaza could run out within two weeks, leaving hundreds of thousands at risk of severe hunger and malnutrition.
The agency said it currently holds around 5,700 tonnes of food in the territory, but without new deliveries, its ability to sustain operations will be severely limited.

Israel resumed military operations in Gaza just over a week ago, ending a fragile ceasefire and triggering fresh displacement. The UN reported on Wednesday that 142,000 people had been forced to flee their homes in the past seven days, while restrictions on humanitarian aid have further strained dwindling resources.
