US President Announces Billions in Gaza Aid at Board of Peace Meeting

United States President Donald Trump has announced multibillion-dollar pledges for relief and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip at the inaugural Board of Peace. According to him, countries attending the session committed funds to help address humanitarian needs and rebuild war-torn communities.

Trump said the United States would contribute 10 billion dollars to the Board of Peace initiative, while representatives from countries including Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and Kuwait pledged more than seven billion dollars collectively.

The US President also stated that the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs is also working to raise additional funds to support relief efforts. Trump highlighted improvements in aid deliveries, noting that thousands of aid trucks have entered Gaza on a weekly basis to meet urgent needs.
