Donald Trump has again raised the prospect of seeking a third term as US president, despite the constitutional two-term limit.
Speaking to NBC News on Sunday, Trump insisted he was not joking when asked about the possibility, adding that “methods” existed to make it happen.
The 78-year-old has repeatedly floated the idea in the past, but his latest remarks, reinforced during an exchange with reporters aboard Air Force One, were among his most explicit on the subject.

Since launching his second term, President Trump has wielded executive power in unprecedented ways, enlisting billionaire Elon Musk to overhaul parts of the federal government. He claimed his supporters are demanding even more.
Any attempt to defy the 22nd Amendment, which bars a third term, would face significant legal and political hurdles.
