U.S. President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that he would not support any Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear sites in response to Iran’s missile attack.

The American President’s comment came a day after Iran fired more than 180 ballistic missiles at Israel in a move that he previously described as ‘ineffective.’ Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has since vowed that Iran would pay for the attack.

President Biden said he will be discussing with the Israelis about what their next steps will be. He added that all seven G7 nations agree that Israel has a right to respond, but the response should be done proportionally.
