The 13th edition of the Biennale College Cinema has announced its selected projects, including the Kenyan-Nigerian film ‘1 Woman, 1 Bra’ by director Vincho Nchogu and producer Josh Olaoluwa, as the only African entry.
This opportunity, part of the Venice International Film Festival, will see the creative duo participate in a 10-day workshop from October 8-17, 2024, alongside 11 other international projects.
‘1 Woman, 1 Bra’ marks the feature film debut for both Kenyan director Nchogu and Nigerian producer Olaoluwa, who have previously participated in the Red Sea Lodge and Torino Film Lab.
Following the workshop, four of the twelve selected projects will receive up to 200,000 Euros in production funding and the chance to premiere at the 82nd Venice Film Festival.
