Elder statesman and former diplomat Mr Christopher Kolade has died at the age of 92. His family, who announced that he passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 8th October 2025, expressed gratitude for his long life of faith, service, and public impact.
Born on 28 December 1932, Mr Kolade enjoyed a remarkable career spanning broadcasting, academia, and diplomacy. He served as Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and was widely regarded for his commitment to ethics, leadership, and corporate governance.
