Nigerian Striker Victor Osimhen is en route to Istanbul to finalise a permanent transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray in a deal set to break Turkey’s transfer record.
The 26-year-old departed aboard a private jet, with Galatasaray confirming it will stream his arrival live via its YouTube channel.
The Turkish champions have agreed a €75 million package with Napoli, including an upfront payment of €40 million and a further €35 million payable over the next year. The agreement also bars Osimhen from returning to Serie A for two seasons.

Osimhen spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Galatasaray, netting 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 appearances as the club clinched both the league and cup titles.
His departure draws a line under a turbulent spell at Napoli, where he was sidelined at the start of last season.
