Traders at the Singer market in Kano say they are not involved in hoarding essential goods and commodities.
The traders, who were at the Kano Public Complaint and Anti Corruption Commission (PCACC) office, dissociated themselves from the alleged ill practice and also pledged to sustain the current price of foodstuff from now onwards.

Speaking shortly after a meeting with the PCACC, the leader of the traders, Ibrahim Danyaro, said the Singer Market traders don’t hoard goods and other essential commodities.
Speaking further, another businessman, Hamisu Rabiu, assured that the traders would do everything possible within their power to sustain the current price of goods and commodities, especially as fasting period approaches.
