Where Is The Value Of Human Lives In Nigeria? Asks Mr Macaroni

Nigerian content creator and activist, Adebowale Debo Adedayo, better known as Mr Macaroni, has criticized the Nigerian government over its inability to curb the rising insecurity in the country.

Reacting to the death of one of the six kidnapped family members in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, in a series of posts on his X handle, Macaroni asked; Where is the value of human lives in Nigeria?

Over a week ago, Mansoor Al-Kadriyar and his six daughters were kidnapped in the Bwari Area Council of the FCT. The bandits later freed the father to go and look for N60m Naira as ransom to secure the release of his children.

The kidnappers had given an ultimatum of Friday for the ransom to be paid, but the family raised N30 million, which the kidnappers rejected. The eldest child, Nabeeha, a 400-level biological science student at Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, in Zaria, was killed on Friday. The ransome demand now stands at N100m.

In his post on X, Mr Macaroni added that the life of every Nigerian matters, as he called on the government must rise up and put an end to what he called barbarism.
