Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, on Wednesday, insisted that despite calls by the workers of the Police Service Commission(PSC), he would not accept the list of the candidates recruited as police constables by the agency.
Speaking at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, when he met with the Assistant Inspectors-General of Police, Commissioners of Police and other top police officers, the Police Chief said he has a duty to ensure quality recruitment into the force.
The PSC recently released 10,000 names of successful candidates employed from the recent recruitment exercise by the commission. The list was rejected by the NPF, who described the recruitment process as fraudulent.
