Former Super Eagles forward Yakubu Aiyegbeni has urged Ademola Lookman to move on from his failed summer transfer and refocus on delivering for Atalanta. The winger was close to joining Inter Milan, with Bayern Munich and Tottenham also showing interest, but the Italian club held firm and are now in talks over a new contract.
Yakubu acknowledged that missing out on a high-profile move can affect a player, but praised Lookman’s professionalism in returning to action despite the disappointment. He suggested the outcome could ultimately benefit both club and player.
