President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Zahrah Audu as the new Director General of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
The announcement was made on Monday through a statement issued by George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
PEBEC, established to streamline bureaucratic and legislative processes, aims to enhance the ease of doing business in Nigeria and improve the nation’s global business rankings.

Mr. Akume stated that the appointment reflects the administration’s commitment to revitalising Nigeria’s economic framework.
Zahrah Audu succeeds Jumoke Oduwole, who now serves as the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
