Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Zamfara United, has reported that midfielder Idris Ajiya is missing after leaving the team’s camp without permission. The club issued a statement, signed by secretary Hashimu Yusuf, confirming that Ajiya’s departure was unapproved.
Zamfara United has warned other clubs that attempting to register Ajiya without proper clearance could result in severe penalties, including the loss of points for double registration. The club clarified, however, that they are open to releasing the player to any interested team, provided the transfer is handled in a professional manner.

Ajiya, who last featured for Zamfara United in their matchday five fixture against Barau United, has now become the subject of the club’s attention due to his unauthorised exit. The club is actively addressing the situation, seeking a resolution.
The missing player’s status has sparked concerns, with the club calling for adherence to regulations in any potential move for Ajiya.
