President Muhammadu Buhari has described the Ninth National Assembly as the most productive, saying the achievements of his government were due to the harmonious relationship between the Executive and the Legislature.
The President made these remarks while commissioning the permanent site of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) in Abuja.
President Buhari says he has spent the last few days traversing all parts of Nigeria commissioning several critical infrastructure completed by his administration over the last eight years.

The President described the Legislature as the cornerstone of any democracy, and is vital to ensuring that the wishes and aspirations of all Nigerians are considered during the lawmaking process.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan who was present at the commissioning described President Buhari as Nigeria’s most parliament friendly President since the beginning of the Fourth Republic.
