A former Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Mukhtar Shagari, says the President-elect, Bola Tinubu can be successful as President if he surrounds himself with the right people.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, he says the former Lagos State governor should not only pick right people to work with, but the right people who have integrity.

Likening leadership to footbal, Mr. Shagari said as captain of the team, being the only person possessed of talent would not guarantee victory in any competition. But having the right people on the team would lead to many goals and victory.
He added that nationally, the President-Elect can expand what he did to achieve success in Lagos by bringing in the right calibre of people.
