President Bola Tinubu has ordered a review of the proposed N8,000 conditional cash transfer programme meant to bring succour to most vulnerable households.
In a statement issued by Mr. Dele Alake, Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communication and Strategy in Abuja last night, the President directed that the government’s whole palliative package be unveiled to Nigerians.

President Tinubu also directed the immediate release of fertilisers and grains to approximately 50 million farmers and households across the entire country.
In addition, the President also assured that the N500 billion approved by parliament to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal will be judiciously utilised.
