The Super Eagles beat Sao Tome and Principe 6 nil to wrap up the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Nest of Champions in Akwa Ibom State yesterday.
A hat-trick from Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, and a goal each from Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi, and substitute, Samuel Chukwueze ensured the team finished top of Group A ahead of Guinea Bissau.

Nigeria played six matches en route to qualification for the competition.Â
Their only defeat was against Guinea Bissau who pipped them 1-0 earlier in the year.
