Serie A champions, Napoli, have spoken about the controversial TikTok video posted on its official page about its striker Victor Osimhen.
In a statement yesterday, Napoli said it wanted to explicitly state that the club never intended to offend or make fun of Osimhen.Â
The club explained that it wanted to avoid any potential exploitation of the matter and considers the striker an asset.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Sports Development, John Owan Enoh, says Nigeria will reach out to the Italian government, Napoli and Osimhen over the issues he is having with his club.
The now-deleted video appeared to mock the 24-year-old Nigeria international for missing a penalty during their 0-0 draw with Bologna in Serie A last weekend.
