President Bola Tinubu has appointed Olasupo Olusi as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry (BOI).
Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesman announced the appointment in a Statement yesterday, saying the appointment is for a term of four years in the first instance.
According to him, the President’s approval of Olusi’s appointment follows the voluntary resignation of former BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Olukayode Pitan.

Ngalele says the President charged the new BOI Chief Executive to ensure that Nigerians, who are operating all sizes of enterprises across sectors, are given fair and equitable access to much needed support in order to bolster employment generation and wealth creation amongst income groups in the country.
Until his appointment, Olusi served as a World Bank economist and development finance expert over the past 20 years.
