The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has confirmed the arrest of popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, at the Seme Border.
In a statement released on Monday night, the NIS revealed that Bobrisky was apprehended while attempting to flee Nigeria.
A spokesman for the service, DCI KT Udo, described Bobrisky as a person of interest in relation to recent public concerns.
Mr. Udo added that Bobrisky is currently undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
