NEC Sets One-Week Deadline For Kwara, Kebbi, Adamawa On State Police Reports

The National Economic Council (NEC) has given Kwara, Kebbi, and Adamawa States one week to submit their reports on the proposed creation of state police.

Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa, disclosed the deadline while addressing State House correspondents on Thursday after a NEC meeting chaired by Vice-President Kashim Shettima. He stated that the council would take “appropriate decisions” if the states fail to comply within the specified timeframe.
