President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Paris, France, for a three-day state visit at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The Nigerian leader landed at Orly Airport in Paris at 5:10 pm local time on Wednesday.
The visit aims to deepen political, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations, with a particular focus on partnerships in agriculture, security, education, health, youth engagement, innovation, and energy transition. Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga said that President Tinubu will also engage in bilateral discussions to advance these shared interests.

According to his schedule, President Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu will, on Thursday, be received at the historic Les Invalides and the Élysée Palace by President Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron. The reception will feature formal ceremonies, bilateral meetings, and discussions aimed at fostering closer collaboration.
