The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially recognized Honourable Nname Robinson Ewor’s faction as the legitimate state executive body of the party in Rivers State.
In a statement released on Thursday, the PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, confirmed the decision. The announcement follows the party’s acceptance of a recent Rivers State High Court ruling, which nullified the Ward, Local Government, and State Congresses conducted on July 27, August 10, and August 31, 2024.

The National Working Committee has now aligned itself with Honourable Ewor’s faction, which enjoys the support of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
The PDP leadership has urged all stakeholders, members, and supporters in Rivers State to collaborate with the Ewor-led executive to promote the party’s unity, stability, and growth within the state.
