Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has delivered encouraging news regarding the fitness of teenage prodigy Ethan Nwaneri, who appears poised to return to action in the Gunners’ forthcoming UEFA Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb.
The 17-year-old midfielder, sidelined earlier this month with a muscle injury, was back in training on Tuesday afternoon, signalling his availability for selection in the crucial European fixture.

Nwaneri, an Anglo-Nigerian talent, has dazzled with his performances, earning a reputation as one of the brightest young prospects in football. He first etched his name in the record books in September 2022, becoming the youngest player to debut in the Premier League at just 15 years and 181 days during Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Brentford.
More recently, the midfielder broke new ground by becoming the first Arsenal player to score more than one Premier League goal before turning 18, underlining his growing influence on the pitch.
