Amotekun Corps Parades 21 Suspects in Ondo State

The Ondo State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, has apprehended 21 individuals linked to various criminal activities across the state.

Speaking at the corps’ headquarters in Akure, the Commander, Mr. Adetunji Adeleye, disclosed that the suspects include four alleged kidnappers and five herders accused of breaching the anti-open grazing law. The remaining 12 face charges ranging from theft and assault to attempted murder.

Among those paraded was a notorious robber, Wale Okusan, 39, accused of attacking commercial motorcyclists and stealing their bikes. Also presented was Noel Bulus, 32, from Kaduna State, who was rearrested after escaping custody while handcuffed.

Commander Adeleye noted that the agency’s yuletide patrols are concluding but pledged intensified forest security amid rising concerns over criminal activity in the region.
