JAMB Concludes UTME Registrations, Announces Direct Entry Sales

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that over two million candidates have registered for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). An additional 200,000 applicants have signed up for the Mock-UTME, while 630 have registered for the trial mock.  

Meanwhile, the board has announced that the sale of Direct Entry application documents for the 2025 admissions cycle will commence on Wednesday, 12 March. The UTME registration process, which began on 3 February, officially closed on Saturday, 8 March.

JAMB’s Public Communications Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, emphasised the importance of the Direct Entry process for candidates holding advanced qualifications, such as diplomas, A-level certificates, or degrees, who intend to secure university placements.  

With UTME registrations now concluded, the board is shifting focus to Direct Entry applications, with e-PIN vending set to begin for eligible candidates.
