Nigerian striker Akor Adams is expected to return to action for Sevilla after the international break, following a five-week absence due to a tendon injury. The 24-year-old, who joined the Spanish club in January from Montpellier, featured only once before sustaining the setback in early February.
Adams resumed light training two weeks ago but required additional time to regain match fitness. According to *Diario de Sevilla*, he will remain sidelined for this weekend’s La Liga fixture against Athletic Club but should be available once club football resumes.

Initially named in Nigeria’s provisional squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, Adams was left out of the final selection. The break provides an opportunity for the forward to fully recover and reintegrate into Sevilla’s squad as they push for an improved league position.
