Salford City Confirm Squad Changes as New Era Begins

Salford City have confirmed their retained and released list following the conclusion of the 2024–25 League Two season, with three Nigerian players among those affected.

The club, now under new ownership led by David Beckham, Gary Neville, Declan Kelly, and Lord Mervyn Davies, has offered fresh contracts to seven players. These include right-back Tosin Olopade, 20, who made seven senior appearances this term, and forward Hakeeb Adelakun, 28, who impressed with 13 goals and four assists in 32 outings after arriving earlier this year.

The Ammies are expected to undergo further restructuring under the new board, with promotion ambitions likely to shape recruitment this summer.
