Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration as a natural continuation and expansion of the institutional reforms begun under former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking in Abuja at the launch of ‘According to the President’, a new book by Garba Shehu, Mr. Mustapha said Buhari governed with discipline and policy focus, laying the groundwork for systemic, rather than personality-driven, governance.

He praised key Buhari-era reforms—including the Petroleum Industry Act, infrastructure renewal, military modernisation, and the National Social Investment Programme—as part of a wider agenda for inclusive development.
Mr. Mustapha said Tinubu is reinforcing that legacy through power sector deregulation, civil service reform, and tax system restructuring.
Citing the Supreme Court’s ruling on local government autonomy and other ongoing policy efforts, he called on Nigerians to see reform as a shared, generational responsibility.
