Nigerian singer Terry G has broken his silence over claims that he hijacked the hit song ‘Pass Me Your Love’ from fellow artist AY.Com.
The controversy, which dates back several years, centres on Terry G’s frequent performances of the track—originally released with AY.Com as the lead and Terry G as a featured artist. Critics accused him of overshadowing the original creator.

Responding via his official X handle, Terry G described the accusations as baseless and rooted in ignorance. He argued that featured artists routinely perform collaborative tracks and suggested the public backlash may have contributed to AY.Com’s career decline.
He insisted the song was always a joint effort, not an attempt to claim ownership.
