The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) has called on the government to strengthen national security and urged journalists to uphold responsible and patriotic reporting.
The appeal followed its 2025 biennial convention held in Enugu, where discussions centred on the theme: ‘Nation’s Security Future: Harnessing Diversity for Peace/Stability and the Media’s Role.’
