Nigerian musician, Tiwa Savage, has filed a petition against David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, with the Nigerian police.
Tiwa recounted an Instagram Story post on December 23 featuring herself and Sophia Momodu, who has a child for Davido. The post allegedly led to both musicians unfollowing each other, and culminated in Tiwa’s ex-husband, Tee Billz, threatening to, in his own words, teach Davido a lesson for disrespecting his family.
In the petition addressed to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police and dated January 9, Tiwa Savage alleged that Davido made direct threats to her rights to life, privacy and dignity of her person.

She also said Davido allegedly told their mutual connections to warn her to be careful in Lagos.
In the petition, which included screenshot images of the exchange between herself and Davido on instagram before they both unfollowed each other, Tiwa said that the police should hold Davido responsible if anything untoward or harmful were to happen to her or any member of her family.
