Oxfam’s policy lead for the occupied Palestinian territory, Bushra Khalidi, has criticised world governments for what she described as a failure to halt Israel’s alleged use of starvation as a weapon in Gaza.
She condemned the transfer of aid distribution from UN-led agencies to the Israel-US military contractor GHF, saying the move has turned food delivery into a deadly trap for civilians.

Ms Khalidi argued that the crisis is not merely a humanitarian breakdown but a calculated policy, accusing the international community of indifference amid daily civilian casualties.
She called for an immediate ceasefire and large-scale humanitarian access, warning that over two million people are facing a slow death while the world looks on in silence.
