The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Osun State has appealed to the media for support in mobilising eligible voters to register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, ahead of the 2026 governorship election.
Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr Mutiu Agboke, told journalists in Osogbo that over 360,000 PVCs remain uncollected from the state’s 1.95 million registered voters. He urged the media to amplify messages against vote buying, electoral violence, and other malpractices.
