The Federal Government says it is set to boost Nigeria’s agriculture and economic base by planting 100 million oil palm trees and reviving the cocoa industry. Vice President Kashim Shettima announced the plan at the launch of the seventh national MSME clinic in Ondo State.

Shettima said the initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s directive and is part of broader efforts to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. He noted that MSMEs account for 90 percent of jobs in the country and are vital to national prosperity and poverty alleviation.
