Nigeria’s women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, have re-entered the global elite, climbing three places to 8th in the latest FIBA World Rankings. The move follows their fifth consecutive AfroBasket triumph — a feat unmatched in Africa.
D’Tigress remain the only African side ever to crack the top 10, reinforcing their dominance on the continent and growing global presence. The rankings update reflects results from recent FIBA Continental Cups.
