Nigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority has met with Comfort Emanson, the passenger involved in a confrontation with Ibom Air crew during a flight from Uyo to Lagos.
Officials confirmed the meeting took place in Abuja, with Emanson accompanied by her lawyer. The encounter followed earlier sessions with the airline’s crew as part of a wider investigation into the incident that went viral online.

The regulator said several of its directorates, including aviation security, licensing, and consumer protection, were working together to ensure a thorough conclusion.
Miss Emanson was accused of assaulting a flight attendant and clashing with security personnel at Lagos airport on 10 August. She was briefly detained, arraigned, and remanded before the case was later withdrawn.
The NCAA says its findings will guide further action to maintain safety and consumer confidence in air travel.
