The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, has expressed concern over what it calls a deliberate effort by vested interests to undermine operations at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery. The group warned that such actions could threaten Nigeria’s economic stability and damage its reputation among investors.
In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Professor T.A. Muhammad-Baba, the Forum cited regulatory interference, crude supply disruptions, and union disputes as major challenges confronting the refinery. It described these as part of a wider plot by entrenched interests resisting reform in the oil sector.

The ACF also condemned alleged pressure on refinery workers to join PENGASSAN, backing legal efforts to safeguard operations. It urged stakeholders to allow the refinery to stabilise, warning that attempts to destabilise it could deter future investment and harm confidence in Nigeria’s business environment.
