The Lagos State Government has announced the temporary closure of the Marine Bridge in Ijora, Apapa, for maintenance work by the Federal Ministry of Works. The closure, which begins on Saturday, October 11, will last 15 days, reopening on October 25.
Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, said the work will be carried out in two phases to reduce traffic disruption. Specific diversions have been arranged for motorists heading to and from Apapa and Costain during the period.
