At least two people, including a child, were killed on Monday in an Israeli drone strike east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, Al Jazeera reports. Hamas accused Israel of repeated violations of the month-old ceasefire, alleging continued bombardments and demolitions across the enclave.
The group said 271 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have been killed and more than 600 wounded since the truce began on October 10. The Israeli military maintained that those killed posed an “immediate threat” to its troops.
