Saka Speaks on Nigerian Roots as Heritage Continues to Shape Arsenal Star

Arsenal and England forward Bukayo Saka has spoken warmly about the influence of his Nigerian heritage, saying his upbringing continues to shape his character on and off the pitch. Saka, who represented England from U15 level before committing to the Three Lions, was once courted by Nigeria’s football authorities. He said he remains proud of his full name — Bukayo Moses Ayoyinka Temidayo Saka — describing it as a link to his family’s history.
