The Nigerian Army says its troops have killed 47 terrorists and arrested 19 suspects during coordinated land and air operations across the country over the past 72 hours. The operations also led to the rescue of more than 30 kidnap victims and the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and logistics.
Ground operations in the north-west and north-central regions recorded significant successes, including neutralising terrorists in Sokoto, Niger, and Zamfara states and recovering rifles, motorcycles, and communication equipment. Civilians injured in attacks were rescued and received medical attention.
Troops in Kaduna, Plateau, Rivers, Delta, Imo, and the Federal Capital Territory disrupted armed robbery, illegal crude oil activities, and anti-mining operations, arresting suspects and recovering stolen property, tools, and petroleum products.

Airstrikes in Borno state targeted ISWAP and JAS logistic bases, neutralising at least 42 terrorists. Secondary explosions indicated the destruction of weapons and explosives, contributing to ongoing efforts to combat insurgency and restore security across the north-east.
