The Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa has spoken about her ended marriage to billionaire industrialist Abdul Samad Rabiu, chairman of BUA Group. In an interview, she described the relationship with her ex-husband as one built on enduring respect, family ties, and mutual support.
Musawa said their shared roots and long-standing family connections have allowed them to maintain close relations. She described Rabiu as “my greatest cheerleader” and praised his kindness, philanthropy, and character beyond his public persona as a business leader.
She highlighted that her daughter, Hadiza, was named after Rabiu’s grandmother and emphasised the deep respect she continues to share with his mother and family. Musawa added that their relationship has evolved into one of family, friendship, and professional encouragement.
