The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has postponed the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. The continental body announced today that the tournament will now take place between July and August.
CAF said the decision was taken because of what it described as unforeseen circumstances in Morocco, the host country.
The governing body confirmed the change in a brief statement but did not immediately provide further details about the situation affecting preparations for the competition.
