Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle is mourning the death of his newborn daughter, who died just hours after she was delivered. The actor announced the birth of the baby, named Omayinuwa, on Saturday before confirming her death the following day.
In a Facebook post, Doyle said the baby was born on Friday 10 April 2026 at about 10:40 a.m. and passed away on Saturday at about 4:15 p.m. He described her brief life as one that brought joy to the family despite its short duration.

The actor did not disclose the cause of death but said the family remained strong in faith following the loss. Doyle, who married his current wife, Olufunmilayo in 2022, had previously been married to actress Ireti Doyle.
