US based Nigerian issues threat against Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal

A United States-based Nigerian, Mr Kehinde Kolawole, has issued a threat against Fuji musician, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate. Mr Kehinde Kolawole, who is the President of Egbe Omo Yoruba Greater New York, made the allegation in a statement posted on social media following an incident in Ogun State.

Mr Kehinde Kolawole claimed that the altercation occurred during a social event held in Abeokuta on March 22, 2026. He alleged that Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal and members of his entourage pushed him and others while he was taking photographs at the venue.

According to Mr Kehinde Kolawole, he chose not to react at the time and left the venue quietly. He stated that he had previously shown respect to the musician during events in New York and expressed disappointment over the incident.

Mr Kehinde Kolawole warned that he would confront Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal if they met again in the United States. Efforts to reach Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal or his representatives for comment on the allegation have not been confirmed at this time.
